Welcome to Royal Elementary School!

We are focused on students and their families. Our expectations are to raise the academic achievement of all students by adding value to their learning and social development. It will take a partnership from students, parents, teachers, campus administrators, and district leaders to achieve this goal.

Principal's Message

9-11-17

Falcon Parents and Students,

We are excited to see you for the upcoming school year. We have a few announcements and information.

Our theme for the school year will be, "Where will reading take you?" We encourage you to read with your students at home daily. There will be a daily folder that includes a reading chart and behavior chart everyday. We do ask that you check both of them every night.

All students need to bring backpacks to and from school to hold bus ID tags and the daily folder for students. Until we have sent out an announcement, students will turn in the tags at school. When the bus ID system has been received by the district in the month of September, we will roll out the system below.

Buses - A few weeks into school, all students who ride buses will be required to have a bus tag (zip-tie this to your student's backpack) to enter the bus from home and the school. Students will be given the first tag for free and 1 replacement. Upon the second replacement card there is a cost of $5 and a 5 day window for payment. Upon the third and beyond replacement card, there is a $10 cost and 5 day window for payment. Students will not be allowed to ride the bus if there is no payment made in the time frame or after. When the payment is made after the 5 day window a new card will be issued to the student and then will be allowed to ride the bus.

We have important events to come for RES this fall. Please mark your calendars with the following dates and times:
